Positive sleep aids

I had one of these as a child!! Did you?? Positive sleep aids have been around for a long time, yet to often they are forgotten as a useful sleep tool. Sleep aids such as the popular Lulla doll, Glow dreaming, baby shusher ( white noise, pink noise apps) etc. potentially help your child to independently connect sleep cycles. When your child stirs between sleep cycles three of their senses return before they are completely awake.... 1. Touch. 2. Smell 3. Hearing. For example, if they have initially fallen asleep listening to white noise and cuddling a comforter, then those senses are met immediately when they stir and your child can utilise those sleep aids to encourage self settling throughout the night. # Tip - make sure your sleep aids are on and available throughout the entire night!
